:iconsir-kunimutt: had the idea to start his own challenge, and I've decided to take it on because it's a good idea. The rules are simple:
1. Put together a playlist of 10-31 songs.
2. Make a drawing inspired by each of those songs during the month of May.
3. Post them on your deviantArt.

There's no restriction on which musical pieces you may use. They may be anything from anywhere. You may draw inspiration from the source material or accompanying video for any given piece, but you shouldn't fully copy it. The sky's the limit on what you come up with!

I take requests, but they only get finished during my livestreams every Wednesday. I do some prep work on each request prior to the stream, but rarely more than a basic sketch and maybe a color scheme if I think the piece is going to give me trouble. I try to give each piece 15-20 minutes maximum, but a piece may get more or less time depending on how it's turning out and how many other pieces I planned for the day.

Once a request is done, it's done. I take them for fun and practice, and if you want a quality guarantee I strongly recommend commissioning your piece. I can't justify spending the extra time on a piece I'm not getting paid for.

What I'll Do:
- OCs
- Memes
- Fanart
- short scenes
- Limited pallet challenges

What I Won't Do:
- Anything I won't do on commission except fanart, which I can only do as a request.
- Fetish art (furries may be exempt on a case by case basis).
- Anything too complex. This is tough to gauge but to draw some hard lines, no more than 7 characters, no complex backgrounds, and no more than 2 panels.
- Non-fictionalized portraits
- Pepe the frog. His creator has taken public and legal action to retire the character and I would like to respect a fellow creator's wishes. Pepe the Prawn and Pepe Le Pew, however, are fair game.

Portraits:
I don't like doing portraits for a number of reasons, but I've been getting more requests for them lately so here's my compromise with them:
I'll do your portrait on request, but it will be fictionalized in some way and will not be a true-to-life representation of you. I may draw you as a powerful flower queen, or as a lobster-themed knight, or even as a mech pilot out of some cheesy sci-fi anime. You are absolutely welcome to tell me how you'd like your portrait fictionalized, but if you don't give me something to work with I'll make something up.
If you want an accurate, true-to-life portrait, you may commission one for the same price as a piece of character art. I will not do true-to-life portraits for free since they take too long.

How to submit your request:
1. Contact me with what you'd like me to draw and as many reference images as possible. If you are not able to send me reference images, detailed descriptions or links to the property (in the case of fanart) will suffice. The better the references you give me, the better the request will turn out.
I will no longer take requests as comments. Please send me a note here, DM me on Instagram, Ask me on Tumblr, or email me at bahitchens96@gmail.com. It's becoming too much of a hassle to keep up with requests that have been commented and I can't do a request if I can't find the asker and their references.
2. Wait your turn. You may send me multiple requests at a time, but out of fairness to everyone who submits requests, I try to rotate whose requests get done so nobody waits too long. This may change as the to-do list grows.
3. Tune in to the livestream if you can. I'd appreciate it, and it lets me ask questions that come up while working on the piece that I may have missed before. If you can't, don't sweat it! These are just for fun and the only person obligated to show up is me.
4. When your request is done, Enjoy!

Slight content warning as I do mention things like organs and parasites in my attempts to magic-lawyer the [CENSORED] out of this topic.

1. What counts as an injury?

     - Is a self-inflicted wound healable?
     - Do surgeries count as injuries?
          - If so, can magic be used to speed up recovery? By how much?
          - If not, can magic be used in place of a surgery? With what limits?

2. Can magical healing fix malfunctioning body parts/organs? (i.e. diabetes, appendicitis, etc.)
     - Does this work if the organ in question has never functioned properly/stopped functioning shortly after birth?
     - Does it work if the problem is genetic? (I.e. would it cure/affect the effects of something like Turner syndrome and to what extent if so?)
     - Does this work if the organ stopped functioning due to diet/injury/whatever? (i.e. Would someone with Type 2 diabetes suddenly find their pancreas working?)
     - In cases where the problem is additional growths or parasites on/in the organ, does magical healing remove those? Would it not remove those since it would technically be destroying something? Does it work for one but not the other?

3. Can magical healing restore missing limbs/organs?
     - Does this count for limbs/organs that never developed?
     - Does this count for limbs/organs that were lost?
     - Does this count for limbs/organs that were surgically removed?
     - If it does restore missing limbs/organs, is there a time limit after which limbs/organs will not be restored?
     - Does special magic have to be used to restore a missing limb/organ?
     - If a general heal will give someone back a missing limb/organ, will that limb/organ function properly even if it had been surgically removed (i.e. Can someone accidentally get their wisdom teeth back and if so, would the teeth fit or would they have to be removed again?)

4. Could it work for allergies?
     - Would it reduce the symptoms or would someone suddenly find themselves not allergic to things anymore?

5. Could it fix undiagnosed problems?

6. Could it fix mental health problems?
     - Does it work for all of them or just ones that stem from physiological issues?

How to Commission Me:

1. Contact me here, on my Tumblr, or at bahitchens96@gmail.com. Give a brief overview of the project, your ideal deadline, and the expected cost.

2. I’ll reply to you. If I can’t take your commission for some reason, I will refer you to at least one other artist who probably can. As long as the deadline is feasible and the piece is within my terms, I should be able to take it.

3. Send me as much information about the piece as you can. Picture/photo references are preferable to descriptions, but detailed descriptions will do in a pinch.

4. I will send you updates at the end of every stage so that any and all revisions get done in a timely manner. This is why I prefer longer deadlines, as they allow for this communication without being too stressful.

5. Upon completion of the final piece, I will send you an invoice via PayPal. Upon receiving your payment, I will send you the original psd file, as well as a full-resolution png and a 72dpi jpeg of your piece.

6. Enjoy!

Terms (Graphic Language Ahead):

1. Fanart. I will take payment for illustrations of Fandom OCs, OCs interacting with copyrighted characters, or OCs in locations from copyrighted works. Any work consisting entirely of copyrighted characters or locations will be relegated to Request status and payment will not be accepted.

2. Porn. I hate porn. I don't want to draw porn. But since people keep asking, all porn commissions will have a minimum $69 markup with prices expanded from there. I will still look for any reason to turn down a porn commission if possible.
If I accept a porn commission, I will need half payment up front before work can start.

3. Non-Porn NSFW or Fetish Work. I generally find this less objectionable than Porn, but I'm still tripling the price for any work that trips my fetish alarm.

4. Hate speech.
No.

5. Gore. If I'm drawing organs, the price is triple the bases quoted above. As with Porn, I will look for any reason to get out of drawing gore and will require half-payment up front before work can begin.

6. Real People. Model Release Form required. No model release form = instant no.

7. I reserve the right to use the pieces I create as part of my portfolio, and may record their creation and post process videos/speedpaints of them. If you simply must have your piece exclusive to you, or would rather I not post it until a certain date, please include that in your initial message. I will try to oblige if possible.

8. You may do whatever you want with your piece as long as you acknowledge that I drew it.
